I have been thinking about having mods on my weblog for a very long time, and have finally decided to make some of you moderators on my website! I am sure you are thinking, well, how do I become a moderator and what will I get? Here are your answers to those questions, and a few more.
Q. What do moderators on http://simmer27.com get? Do they get anything over everyone else? Do they get to be V.I.P. for anything? Why would I want to be a moderator?
Simmer 27: Moderators on this website will get special V.I.P. things such as coin codes, memberships, and rare penguins when I don’t need them. They will get to go to partys as a V.I.P. and will get a widget saying who the moderators are! Moderators will get to be moderators on my chatroom. You would want to be a moderator because every now and then, if you want to get something of yours promoted, I just might help!
Q. Thats cool! What do I have to do to become a moderator?
Simmer 27: To become a moderator on this website, you must do a few things. First, you need to comment on THIS POST telling me the following.
1. You AIM or MSN if you have one, if you don’t simply tell me your email. Don’t worry, I will not let other people see your AIM, Email, or MSN in the comments. I will remove it before its approved. I need this because if you are a moderator, I need to know how to contact you!
2. You need to have a good resimay. What I mean by that is I don’t want to hear from anyone that you have ever hacked anyone in the recent past, or have scammed someone. If you have done that, and I hear about it before you are a mod, you will not be added.
3. You need to have a wordpress account! How else can I add you to my website if you don’t have one? Comment saying what your wordpress account is. That is very important!
4. Comment saying if you have experience. Do you have a youtube channel or website? If you do, simply comment it!
5. Comment with the name of your penguin. (Of Course!!)
6. Finally, tell me why I should let you be a mod over everyone else! Tell me why you want to be a mod and tell me what you would do to help me if I made you one.
Q: What are my responsibilitys as a moderator? What rank will I get to be on your blog? What can and what cannot I do?
Simmer 27: You don’t have that many responsibilitys as a moderator. Your main responsibility is to moderate comments. Moderate the comments in such a way where you read each one. If the comment is saying “come to my site” then don’t approve it because it is spam. Spam any comment that could be found offensive, is a hate comment, is simply incorrect, or is expilict! Reply to any comment that is a question. You simply click edit to do this, then answer in bold 2 spaces beneath the comment. Don’t forget to put your penguin name so the person who submited the question knows who the question is coming from! You are not allowed to do anything related to my blogroll or posting as a mod. If you do without asking me, you will be demodded. Simmer 27’s on my chat room are fake, so don’t look for me there. If you are a mod, you will know my aim and msn. the only way you can tell if its me on my chat is if the –simmer27– name is being used. That is the only user name I use on the, and it is hack proof.
You will get to be an Editor as a moderator on this blog. Editors are the second highest rank on this blog. Administrator is the only one higher. Matre10 and I are the only Administrators on this blog. We will not be promoting people to Administrator because that is like giving away 50% of the website!
Q. Is it possible to be demodded? If so, how do I get demodded?
Simmer 27: If you want to be demodded, simply ask me and I will choose someone else. However, there are other ways to be demodded. For instance, if you spam this website with a different link, you will be demodded. If you edit my blogrol you will be demodded, or if you attempt hacking my site you will be demodded. Really, you would have to do something pretty bad to get demodded so If you become a mod, if you follow the rules you won’t be demodded. To all haters, if you want to get someone demodded come up with alot of proof. I mean alot, as in 10 – 20 different pictures that are clearly not photo shopped.
Q. When someone is demodded, how will you replace them?
Simmer 27: I will make a post, and at the bottom, I will say “I’m looking for a new moderator because “so – so” was demodded. Do you want to be a moderator? Comment here if you do!”
Q. How and when will the mods be chosen?
Simmer 27: First, I will read every comment submitted. Comments will be approved after submission. Then, on April 5, 2009 I will make a poll with the 10 names of penguins who I thought were the most convincing in why they should become moderators! I will make a poll on April 5, 2009 with the names of the 10 penguins who I thought would make good moderators! I will leave the poll open four 2 weeks in a widget, then I will close the poll and the 3 penguins with the most votes will become moderators! I will make sure that it is only one vote per computer to prevent cheating.

Club Penguin released 5 new ice sculptures, released the game gear, released a new snow and sport catalog, a new pin, and finally, a new ninja catalog. Lets get started!
The new ninja catalog only released 2 new items. It’s more of an update, not a new catalog. Here is what the two items look like.
Unfortunately, neither item allows you to do a special ninja move. 
Club Penguin updated the text today as well! Now when you type something, you will have a different font, a font that is much easier to read. Here is a picture!

This Ice Sculpture that was released today is located in the Ski Village. The sculpture is of a Cheerleader leading a cheer!
The second out of a series of 5 Ice Sculptures that were released today can also be seen at the Ski Village! This sculpture is of a puffle near a Puffle “O” trophy?
The third of 5 ice sculptures is located at the Beach. This sculpture is of a penguin walking at the beach with his puffle!
This sculpture is by far my favorite ice sculpture, and is located inside the Lighthouse! This ice sculpture is of a Superhero Puffle!! 
The fifth and final ice sculpture released today is located at the Dock. It appears to be a penguin with a star shirt waving!
The current free pin on Club Penguin is a Top Hat and is located in the Ski Lodge Attic!
The Game-Gears were released on Club Penguin today! You can buy gears only for Ice Fishing, Hydrohopper, and Catchin’ Waves.

Club Penguin released there 180th issue of the Club Penguin Times today. Surprisingly, it spoiled much more then I thought it would!
Club Penguin announced that on March 27, (tomorrow) 2009, they will release game gear! Game gear will be gear you can buy for mini-games all around Club Penguin. According to the Club Penguin Times, gear will be sold right next to the game where it can be used!
Hydrohopper gear will be sold at the Dock.
New Sled Racing gear will be sold on top of the Ski Mountain.
The Ski Lodge will be selling the rods that lure the Grey Fishes.
Surfboards will be sold at the Cove.
Club Penguin gave us another one of there long and boring articles about how Gary is inventing something and he was inspired by the Switchbox 3000. I would not have posted this if I had not seen a sign at the bottom saying April Fools Party Coming April 1, 2009! This caught my attention because it also said that Gary will be leaving the Penguin Awards until April 2, 2009, the day after the April Fools Day Party begins on Club Penguin. If you ask me, here is what will happen.
Matre10 is right, Gary is designing a teleporter that will be in every room on Club Penguin. During the April Fools Day Party, if you take a wrong step, you will go into a room you weren’t in before. Gary is designing something like that clearly for the April Fools Day Party! If you disagree, please comment saying why and tell me what you think Gary the Gadget Guy is designing! Coming to Club Penguin on March 27, 2009 is as follows. Game gear becomes available around Club Penguin, a new pin is hidden, 5 more ice scupltures are displayed around Club Penguin, and finally, there will be a new Ninja Catalog!

You can only get the backgrounds from these famous penguins. They will log on and off, so for instant data click the refresh data button! All these famous penguins will be bringing the backgrounds they brought the last time they were on Club Penguin. The only exception is for Aunt Arctic, who has never been able to be seen on Club Penguin before.
If ever one of the trackers is to malfunction, here are some tips to finding the famous four.
1. These penguins are always on Club Penguin, but they will occasionally go on a Portugeesee server.
2. Search with your friends, a group always helps.
3. Famous penguins only go on populated servers, so check the populated servers only!
4. These penguins are going to be 99 percent backstage, 1 percent on the stage. If you are a non-member, you still have a little hope!
5. Remember, this is very important, to have fun searching! If you aren’t having fun, there really isn’t much point in doing it. Am I wrong?
Common names for the stars. G is Gary the Gadget Guy. AA is Aunt Arctic. DC or DJ is for Dj Cadence. PB is for the Penguin Band.

Club Penguin released the Penguin Awards, a new Furniture Catalog, and the 5 sculptures that won the ice contest!
We will start with the 5 winning ice sculptures!
One of the winning Ice Sculptures is of a waving penguin. This sculpture can be seen in the Ski Village.
The second sculpture is of a penguin that is surfing. You can see this sculpture at the Beach.
The third winning sculpture is of a puffle castle! You can see this sculpture inside the Lighthouse.
The fourth and possibly the coolest sculpture is of Gary the Gadget Guy, Rockhopper, Sensei, and Aunt Arctic! You can see this sculpture at the Beacon.
Finally, the last sculpture is of a boat carrying Penguins and Puffles! This sculpture can be seen at the Dock. Now for the Penguin Awards Cheats!
The Penguin Award Stage looks far different and much more fancy then the regular stages! According to the Stage sign, a new special guest will be appearing each week at the Penguin Awards! These guests will appear backstage and members will be the only penguins who get to meet them. One of the weeks Aunt Arctic will be backstage, another maybe Gamma Gal?
There are many hidden items in the Penguin Awards Catalog. To get the first hidden item, click on Squidzoids head to get the Squidzoid outfit.
Click on the bone head wig to get the Electronic Helmet.
Finally, click on the Penguin Award Trophy to get the Penguin Award Background!
To all the non-members, here is what the Backstage of the Stage looks like, and here is how to get to it.

Does the backstage of the stage remind you of anything? To me it looks as if it is almost identical to the backstage that was used for the musical festival! The free item backstage is the Penguin Award Trophy.
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite play! You can vote in the Plaza.
To vote, click on the voting booth. You will then get the following ballot! You can check each play more then once. This was my ballot.
And just for the memories, here is what the 2009 Penguin Awards look like.
Now for some quick and useful tips that I use when it comes to finding Aunt Arctic, Rockhopper, and other famous penguins.
1. Famous Penguins, and especially Club Penguin’s penguins only go on very populated servers at the time of there log in. Normally, they go to Frozen, Mammoth, or Blizzard because those are the servers the most people go to.
2. Famous Penguins stay on servers for 5 minutes at the most. Penguins like Aunt Arctic want to meet you. Since they can only go to one server at a time, I sugest waiting backstage on Frozen for an hour. Odds are that you will have met them by then.
3. Don’t believe people shouting “Aunt Arctic on Freezer” or things like that. They are normally tricks that are used by penguins to empty the room. If the penguin really new where the famous penguin was, they wouldn’t shout about it, they would go to that location!
4. Don’t trust trackers. Trackers are used by bloggers to simply gain veiws. They are updated but rarely change, trackers change tops 4 times a day. Famous Penguins don’t spend 6 hours on a single server! If trackers change fast, they will also not work because these famous penguins are played on by real people! Real people cant log off and log in to a server for only 2 seconds now can they?
These are very useful tips, use them well! Now for the Furniture Catalog Secrets.

Today’s newspaper is all about the Penguin Awards.
Club Penguin announced that this will be the first annual Penguin Awards! Penguin Awards begins tomorrow.
The penguin awards is where you will be able to vote for your favorite play on Club Penguin! There will be five nominies, and they are Superhero’s, Faires, Cavemen, Golden Puffle, or the Stolen Gemstone!
Club Penguin released a sneak peek of this weeks 5 ice sculpture winners. They will become visible around Club Penguin tonight at 9:00 PM CPST. That is also when I will post them.
Aunt Artic will most likely at the Penguin Awards interveiwing penguins and giving them backgrounds! I cannot be sure but something tells me she will by this picture in the newspaper.

Club Penguin has left a small hint on there website that they will be making Spanish servers to increase the games popularity! I’m sure Simmer 27 will be shocked to hear this when he comes back from Argentina, which has a main language of Spanish.
Club Penguin posted on there open job page that they need a Spanish Language Support Representive. But why would Club Penguin need a Spanish Language Support Representive if they are only operating in French, English, and Portugeese? There is only one answer, Club Penguin will be opening up Spanish servers. Any ideas where the Spanish Club Penguin will be based? If you have an idea, comment it!
In other news, the ammount of penguins that donated to Coins for Change was announced. According to Club Penguin, only 2,500,000 million penguins of the 45 million that play the game donated. You are probably aware of how the 1 million was split up, and if you don’t you can always check out the posts from Christmas time.
